For me, it was due to the fact that of my trainees.

In some cases they were simply a little bit behind, sometimes they were method behind, and sometimes they were at grade level and just wished to advance faster.
Sometimes this was since the trainees had learning troubles like dyslexia and ADHD. Other times, this was just because the teachers did not teach all of the specific skills needed to check out.

The program does take some participation from a parent for grades K-2, but for grades 3-8, the majority of kids can do most activities in the program on their own.
